FAQs

Are face masks currently required?

For your safety and ours, we are still requiring universal masking within our imaging clinics. But don’t worry if you don’t have one or you forget yours — we have surgical masks available at all of our locations.

Do I need to be referred for an ultrasound by my doctor

We do require referrals from a licensed physician or medical professional before you can schedule an appointment with us.

Do you take walk-in appointments?

While we can’t take walk-ins for a number of health and safety reasons, we do understand that sometimes answers about your healthcare can’t wait. That’s why we are open to making same-day appointments whenever possible.

Are ultrasounds safe for me? What about for babies in-utero?

Ultrasounds are extremely safe and have not been shown to cause any harm, either to the patient or to babies during pregnancy.

Can I get a breast ultrasound in place of a mammogram?

While breast ultrasounds can be extremely useful in helping to identify concerning areas of tissue, they can also miss things that mammograms will pick on. We advise using both of these techniques in order to have the clearest picture of your health.

When will I get my results?

Our sonographers are not allowed to provide results to you, but we send all of your images to your referring doctor promptly. We encourage our patients to follow-up with their physician within 1-2 days to discuss their findings.

Can I bring someone to the appointment with me?

We do currently allow you to bring a partner or loved one into the exam room with you. However, we ask that they also wear a mask and that you limit your guests to no more than two people.

How long does it take?

While it depends on the exact procedure you’re having, most of our exams take around 30 minutes.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash and all major debit and credit cards at all our imaging locations.
