Dr. Christine Stoskopf

Radiologist
Phoenix

Dr. Christine Stoskopf has served as medical director at Ultrasound Institute Medical Group Clinic (UIMG Clinic) for the past five years. She is a graduate of Northwestern University Medical School where she did her residency in Diagnostic Radiology and received her board certification.

Following that, she did an additional two-year fellowship in Pediatric Radiology before she and her husband settled in Phoenix, Arizona to practice. Dr. Stoskopf has a long work history in Phoenix, Arizona. Before UIMG Clinic she began as a pediatric radiologist at Phoenix Children’s Hospital and also did adult radiology at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center for seven years.

Following that, she spent 17 years with Valley Radiologists, which is a large office and hospital-based radiology practice that serves the west end of Phoenix. Coming to West Coast Ultrasound and working at UIMG Clinic was a natural next step, which allowed her to focus on a passion for teaching in addition to performing quality Diagnostic Radiology.

Her commitment to teaching is reflected by her three sons who presently attend post graduate programs in medicine at The University of Southern California Medical School, in sociology and teaching at Michigan State University, and in molecular biology at Princeton University. Her goal is to maintain a practice of high level sonography at the UIMG Clinic.

There is a commitment to producing quality work while guiding the sonographers who staff the Clinic. In addition, she gives daily conferences to the externs, during their externship, as a final step in their education at WCUI School of Medical Imaging. Producing quality diagnostic imaging through ultrasound and teaching the sonographers and externs, at UIMG Clinic, allows her to play-out this commitment, as she continues to serve the community of Phoenix.
